One response to “Oil Capacities”

  1. Paul T Shrieves says:

    I acquired a Craftsman Rider with a Briggs & Stratton 19 HP Model 33R877 Type 002G1 Code 14022ZD and
    Serial number14 0422 ZD 56989.
In changing oil the manual states to use 48 OZ without filter and 52 OZ with filter, however I added 48 OZ and the dipstick read 1/4 above full mark The dipstick is 11 1/8 ” long The original issue was engine smoked while running so I replaced rings but I would like to verify capacity before I do any damage to unit
    Thanks for your help Paul
