The information in the first area are based on 2.6 ounces of oil to different amounts of gasoline.
The information in the second area are based on one gallon of gasoline to different amounts of oil.
Either way you mix your 2-cycle fuel, you will get the same effect. If this is confusing, I hope it is not, please E-Mail me.

50:1= 2.6 oz oil to 1 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

40:1= 2.6 oz oil to .8 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

32:1= 2.6 oz oil to .65 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

24:1= 2.6 oz oil to .49 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

16:1= 2.6 oz oil to .33 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

50:1 = 2.6 oz oil to 1 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

40:1 = 3.2 oz oil to 1 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

32:1 = 4.0 oz oil to 1 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

24:1 = 5.33 oz oil to 1 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

16:1 = 8.0 oz oil to 1 US gallon of mid grade gasoline

Another way to figure your fuel to oil ratio is to determine how much fuel you want, say 2.5 gallons. To figure the ratio 40:1 for 2.5 gallons, you will need to figure out how many ounces of gas is in 2.5 gallons. 320 ounces is in 2.5 gallons. Now divide your desired Ratio (40) into 320 ounces. This will give you 8. This is the amount of oil in ounces you will need to mix to 2.5 gallons of fuel to get 40:1.
